I'm training on sand crabs. I'm 99 all combat stats aside from ranged. What's going to get me the best XP rates? I've got 80m GP. Magic short bow (I) with rune arrows. Adamant darts with adamant darts. Armadyl crossbow with broad bolts. Anything else? Ok wearing full ancient hide with a buckle with the one handed stuff. 7 20 comments Add a CommentThere are 40 sand crabs scattered throughout the isle, with several spots containing three/four crabs near one tile. At sand crabs, you can usually get a 4-spot after 1-10 world hops depending on the time of day. Ammonite crabs take like 5x more hops to get a spot. The xp/hour is often worse at ammonites. There are skillers constantly running through and snatching aggro.

Cannoning rock crabs is not very afk, you have to constantly run around and aggro them, it's technically better ranged xp then afk at sandcrabs but your not getting hp xp.
